Please please help been trying for hours any help would be very greatfull.

I am trying to connect the playbook via Tethering but it will not connect to samsung Phone galaxy mini GT- S5570 please see link for galaxy mini if it helps

the device is visable as paired but when i go throught the steps of tethering it gives a message of could not find device
1)make sure device bluetooth is turned on
2)your bluetooth device is turned on
3) you device in in range
all which i have checked correct why will it not pair frustrated at blackberry playbook at the moment or my phone which one lol btw my carrier is o2 uk and i have set up the correct apn settings o2 web name PAYANDGO PASSWORD PASSWORD so i dont think its down to the apn setting or my carriers its the bluetooth seems to think its not connected when it does list as paired and my phone come in under bluetooth devices why is it asking again to connect phone via bluetooth when it is already paired im trying to do this setup and failing


please help me out here

I am not a Playbook user, but I think the only way to tether is to use a BB.

no you can use any smart phone with bluetooth please help look up nokia with playbook bluetooth video via youtube its there here this is the tittle of the video "Blackberry Playbook Tutorial 2- Connect Playbook by Bluetooth to share your phone's internet" type this into youtube search i need to do this but failing please help me i have been trying for hours and no luck please help

come on blackberry forum i thought this is a froum for help thats what blackberry told me you will find lots of support cone on whats wrong here i dot believe no body knows this is a blackbery forum right? lol

yeh i will at least there forum is not volunteered thaey have paid staff maybe you should join there and yeah i will be returning it not to get a sketch a pad but an ipad which has a better support forum get it?

The PlayBook is supposed to support tethering with any phone that supports bluetooth tethering. But I can't help. Don't do it and have never done it. (I bridge.)

My advice is do a search of knowledge base articles at blackberry.com and there find the generic possibilities. Next would be a user forum for the brand of phone, if there is one.

maybe if you would not use text speak you would get more help your posts are just too hard to read and understand because everything is all run together.

Once your Bluetooth is paired correctly and actively connected, you should be able to use internet tethering as if it was a blackberry.

Check for proper APN settings provided by your carrier.

Furthermore, based on my Google Searches, O2 has been very reluctant to authorize its users to use tethering. Are you currently paying for tethering, as it would appear a "Tethering Tariff" is charged by your provider.

Finally, complaining and yelling at the volunteers to keep you is a sure fire way to get your question NOT answered. Volunteers help out for their good of the community and are not in any way shape or form required to help you out. It's a shame when people feel so obliged that they xxxxx and whine about how they cannot get their free help they "deserve". If you really want help, call the RIM Technical Support and PAY for a troubleshooting call or contact your carrier. Take the free help BUT ONLY IF IT IS AVAILABLE.

You would think such common sense should go without saying.
