WHAT does the clock by the text messages mean?????????????

1. Why do you need to use all those question marks for a simple question?
2. Are you talking about a sending a text message on your BlackBerry phone? (I ask because you posted in the PlayBook forum.)
3. The red "clock" icon on the BlackBerry phone next to a message typically indicates that the message is waiting to be sent. Typically, this shows up when you do not have sufficient network coverage.

Are you getting a good signal from your carrier?
Is your device active with the carrier?
Has your service been shut off?
Have you done a battery pull with the device turned on?
