|  Problem surfing net with playbook

I have a 64 gig playbook
Current os is Version 1.0.8.6067
I connect via wifi to my home router Netgear DGND 3300v2
When I tap browser the home page opens ok
I can then access web pages in the normal way.
However too often for my liking the following occurs:
The web page opens but I am unable to scroll down the page
If I tap a link nothing happens
This is obviously very annoying
Is there anything I can do to prevent this happening.
In options
Under Content I have switched off Enable flash and Jave script
Under Privacy & Security I have
Keep History 30 days
Private Browsing Off
Block Pop Ups On
Accept Coockies On
Enable Websockets On
Enable Web Inspector Off
I am also using Blackberry Bridge and blue tooth
These are enabled at all times
If I disable them I have to reinstall bridge again on my phone and the playbook
My phone is a bb bold 9700
