Default Playbook: business use?

Please Login to Remove!

Morning all (or afternoon / evening depending on your timezone!)

Could you help please?

I'm trying to decide between Playbook, iPad or ASUS Transformer Prime. The key reason for purchase will be to take notes of actions from my sales meetings and keep an electronic record of what happened in each meeting.

Ideally I would prefer to input notes via a Stylus rather than typing, so my question is: Is there a Playbook friendly Stylus on the market and is there a good 'handwriting recognition' app available that anyone can recommend?

I am a corporate BB user so I am leaning towards the Playbook however this functionality will be the decider.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi

I don't know of a stylus for the Playbook but you can use your blackberry smartphone as a remote for it and type on the keyboard, or you can use the new Keyboard/Case that Rim as just brought out for it - RIM Introduces the BlackBerry Mini Keyboard for the BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet

As for a note taking app, I would recommend Groovy Notes as it is good at organising notes and can back up to dropbox.

I have a list of my Top Playbook apps on my blog - My Top Apps for The Playbook

Hope this helps

I have the new RIM Playbook keyboard. It is solid but the keys are small so touch typing is tricky.

I don't know if there are any hand writing recognition apps on the Playbook. But there are a few nice apps for business out there. BB has always been about securty and business use. I also have an A500 and generally you have more apps on Android, but some are sh*t. I expect more apps to be available for the Playbook in the future once the platform is more mature.
