Hi all Just saying hi.
New to the forum and blackberry PlayBook.
I have always been a very addictive user of android. I. Have had 2 android tablets a no name 7 inch 800mhz 256mb. Think it was 2.2 stock I rooted it put custom rom on it and overcooked it. Then my other tablet is a a500 all stock honeycomb. Me and the wife are always fighting over the as acer so when I saw the 16gb playbook for $199 at RadioShack. I figured I would give it a try. And the 7 inch tablet is ideal size for me so I figured I would give the playbook. A try. Well all I can say is now we are going to get second playbook. For the wife. I really didn't. Relize how bad at multitasking android is.really it can not multitask at all. And the memory management is so much better on the playbook. The acer and the playbook are about even as fare as hardware goes but after using the playbook for a bit going back to the acer a500 it feels a little. Less snap to it. I really wish more people. Would give the playbook a shot it really is a awesome tablet. Now we just need the software to back it.

we have 3 at our house, it is a great at multi tasking. I have played music on it and recorded the kids dancing at the same time while putting th output to TV.

my 7 year old connects up the HDMI to the plasma and watches his fav movies on it

Daugter loves to draw and do arts on hers. Also enjoys making videos too.

Glad you like the playbook. I also have an A500 and two Playbooks (one gave it to my GF).
