PlayBook Sound + Notification Has disappeared from settings menu

No notification of incoming email


Another PB is working fine same settings and OS

restart the playbook?

have you tried to remove your accounts and set them up again?

Guess I will wait for the next OS upgrade

I've noticed that my sounds seem to disappear with no reason during normal operation, but it still shows in my settings. (I lose notifications and keystrokes).

I generally get my sounds back by going into the Sounds Settings and tapping on the volume level, however, since you have lost the settings completely, I would recommend a playbook restart. Failing that try a hard restart (hold the power button for 15-20 seconds).
