Just purchased playbook yesterday.Can view YouTube videos but purchased a YouTube movie and get messages from YouTube,movie cannot be displayed on this system.I tried some other methods downloading program and copying movie url but nothing works. Can anyone recommend a method to watch YouTube movies on playbook. Thanks

A few ways.

1) download to computer and convert to playbook compatible .mp4 format, copy to PB.
2) download to computer and stream to playbook.
3) depending on what format your movie is, there's a new player for PB that natively plays many formats. Haven't tried it myself.

Hi - I had the same problem, so I abandoned the randomness of the app and use the browser access instead. What I did was to go onto the site then save the page to my desktop as a quick access. If you disable the setting which otherwise requires you to login to your google account (if you have one) every time, your new link will take you straight to your Youtube homepage which is every bit as good as the app (IMO)
