Playbook wont charge
 

Hi,

My playbook won,t charge anymore,i tryed the charger at my phone and it works fine.
But on playbook it doesnt charge.

Ca anyone help me

Dont know, if this helps, because there are many reasons why this can happen (including a defective battery), but when I had this once, after a deep discharge, it helped to charge the PB for 5 minutes, then unplug the charger, wait for a short time, again try to charge for a few minutes. Repeat the process until the battery starts charging.
Also, even If your charger seems to be working fine, try a different one, if the above procedure does not help.
It even might help be patient. Just leave it connected to the charger for 24hrs.

Having the same problem! Would not charge the battery from charger, or from USB. When I plug into computer Blackberry Desktop will not recognize the Playbook. On the 25th it worked fine, on the 26th stopped working. I am on OS 2.1 as per the last upgrade. I tried a 'system wipe' but with only 11% left on the battery I do not have enough power to rebuild the system (needs a min. of 20%). If I am unable to get this thing charged I will have an expensive paper weight.

Please help if possible!!! :-(

Have you tried an alternate charging method, i.e. different wall plug, different charger?

other option: find someone with a playbook Blackberry Rapid Charging Stand, or buy one.
If your USB connector has a problem this might help, because the stand uses a different connector to charge the PB.

The playbook uses a LI-Po type battery. It will discharge lower than a Blackberry Lethium Ion type but still has the same basic issue with multiple discharges. If you let it run down multiple times it may need replacement
