Playbook BlackBerry ID Username login at startup

Hi.

I've just bought a Blackberry playbook. It was bought in an auction, but at startup I'm being asked for an ID username at the screen that says 'Sign in with your BlackBerry ID'. This already has someone's email address in it, I'm guessing the previous owner, therefore I can't login with it. I know I'm able to skip this step and use the tablet - but I don't like the idea that somebody else's details are on it, and that they can access it remotely with their ID. I can't contact the previous owner as this was a bulk auction of items from Comet going into administration as well as repossessions.

Any help in setting the device as my own and removing this user would be very helpful. Thanks

Fully charge the PB
tap the gear icon at top right,
open "security" tab
perform security wipe.

Here's some hints and tips, and a peculiar but effective vid, that you'd be wise to read before starting.
