Question Z10 stuck @ Verifying Blackberry ID

Hi Everyone

This started happening last weekend, it takes 10-15 minutes to verify the blackberry ID when first booting up the phone. We have to reboot the phone again just to bypass the "Verifying Blackberry ID".

Anyone know what would be causing this? I did do the new Blackberry OS update and it started happening after that.

Mine has been signing into blackberry ID for the last hour and has not yet actually signed in, and as a result I can not access any of the functions on the phone nor can I read my sms messages etc. I have owned a blackberry for the last 10 years but will never buy another one this is ridiculous I can even make a phone call !

hello, there seems to have a problem with the phone time and the server time, thus the phone blocks to verifying BB id.
To unblock only, remove SIM and boot on wifi, enter bb id.
if no luck, change date to one year further, reboot, the phone will start normally.
re-change date and reboot.
In both solutions, if you re-click on BB world, it will re-ask you for id and most probably re-block.
So what I did, was changed date, re-adjusted date and reboot.
Upon normal boot and all is fine without opening BB world, back-up all the phone.
cHeck what phone Hardware ID you have, mine is STL100-2

check on blackberry's page what Hardware ID you have, it is here:

For my phone STL100-2 the model I have needs 8700240A

Go to this page and download the latest os on bottom of page

BB10 OSes ← Open Source BlackBerry xxx8211; OSBB

in section Z10 Autoloaders: for my phone 8700240A, the loader is:


This Loader is for STL100-2, STL100-3 and STL100-4

unzip and instal , making sure BB link is on your PC
All will go fluidly.
Unlike older BBerry, your apps and all do not need to re-input passwords and serials etc.
After a few days, in the HUB, you will receive an alert to upgrade to or newer.
