Default Quick question on GPS requirements

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I have been looking around in this forum and I could not find the answer to a question I had. My question is, do I need a data plan to use google maps or Nav4all? I have the Blackberry 8310 and I was wondering if there is a software I can buy and load it on a card and use the internal gps. Thanks in advance for any answers!

Welcome to the forums.

Yes, you need a data plan to use Google Maps (not sure about Nav4All).

And you can't load any applications on the SD card.

No, BB doesn't do that, this is not a treo.

Your media card is for pictures, ringtones, mp3s, videos, etc.
