Default Promotional Christmas offer on new Freedom Keychain GPS 2000 - 11-16-2007, 01:01 PM

Continuing on the success of the Freedom Keychain GPS receiver we are now launching our second Bluetooth keychain GPS receiver, the Freedom Keychain GPS 2000 using the MTK chipset.

Since we had such a high interest in the original offer we ran previously in this forum, and since the members here are still asking for this on a daily basis, we have decided to do an introductory Christmas offer on the latest puck in our stable just for forum members.

The offer is:
The Freedom Keychain GPS 2000 Receiver for $89.99 with no shipping charges.

If you would like to take this offer up, please email me at [email address] with your email address. You can PM me or post here too but I will need your email address if you want to buy the Freedom Keychain GPS 2000 Receiver.

In case you are worried, I only need your email address to send you a paypal button for the reduced payment of $89.99 per piece. You don't need to have a paypal account with the button. When you click the button, it will take you to a secure payment website where you can pay with your credit card.

We will be shipping from the end of November and this offer will run until Christmas eve.

Best regards,

Chris Macsween.

That sucks. I bought my freedom mini just about a month ago now for almost the same price. ($88)

Well John, I'll be looking for a comparison from you when you receive it, I'm looking at the size aspect mostly. Hopefully it'd be a bit slimmer.

I'll be posting a review and comparison after I get it and try it out for a bit.

Hi there everyone,

If anyone has requested a paypal button for the promotion and they haven't yet received it from me, can you check your spam filter?!

I have sent all the paypal buttons requested so it would help me if you could check the filter first before you ask me again for the paypal button
But if you still can't find it, ask me again anyway!

Best regards,

Chris Macsween.

I cannot wait to read your review. I am interested to get a portal GPS to use with my 8700G.

Ordered last night...looking to get something smaller than my Sony GPS unit. Frivolous, but the Xmas bonus came in, and I need a few new toys to play with.

Hi,

Depending on exactly when you emailed this might have come in on Friday evening (GMT time) so she might not have seen it until this morning.

Edit: Also check your spam filters/junk mail folder as some people have said it got filtered out.

Got the freedom GPS 2000 thanks to Chris's promotion. Been using it for a couple of weeks now, in Houston, Dallas, and LA. Taking it Michigan today. Great product!

It arrived...yesterday at 8:30 AM and I was already at work, picked it up at 8:30 AM.

It is freakin' amazing...so much smaller than it looked in the pictures, and so fast!

I was using a Sony GPS puck that my wife happened to get free, and this thing blows the doors off the Sony.

Looks like it's going to be a great unit...Windows Live Search mapped me exactly in my home using it, Google found me very quickly (took forever w/the Sony) and AmazeGPS reacted much faster as well.

Thanks for the Christmas deal, and thanks to John for his review, which pushed me over the edge into ordering this. Going on my keychain today...and I HATE adding things to my keychain, so adding anything to mine is a big compliment.

For those waiting...I ordered on the 11th, arrived yesterday the 21st, and I'm in SoCal...pretty good speed.

Hey Chris,

Just got my keychain based on this thread (although I didn't get to take advantage of the discount). I LOVE it - much better than my Holux 240. But I have a minor complaint I wanted to bring to your attention.

The clear "rubberized" coating you put on it to give it that feel scratches and comes off way too easy. It only took a couple days of being in my pocket rubbing against my keys for it to scratch the coating and make it look crappy. I ended up rubbing the rest of it off with my finger and it looks much better now.

Just a suggestion, but it might be a good idea for the next run to use no coating and a textured surface instead.

I love mine either way. Thanks for the great new toy!

I've noticed the rubberized coating rubbing off too. I haven't rubbed it all off, though. But it works great!

Default Updates - 12-07-2008, 09:21 PM

I have been shopping for a Puck recently, and have read several good things about Freedom pucks. I noticed that this post is more than a year old, and wanted to know if there is an updated promo price and/or model.

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

There's no new promo price. However, its still my preferred puck. You won't be disappointed.

The price has fallen by about $30 since this thread was started...that's pretty much an amazing "promotional price" all by itself.

Get the puck, freeman, it's the bomb.

It is the same model as far as I know...I don't know if they have updated the firmware since it first came out, but that could be.
