Hi all,

I need an application based on GPS for all my 8310 blackberry users.
This application must be composed of a client part installed on the blackberry terminal and of a server side (with the map) located in my LAN (beside my BES).

I would like that the blackberry terminals send regularly GPS positions to an the application server.

The purpose is:
- to be able to locate in real-time every blackberry users
- to storage the positions of all users
- to trace on a map the ways any blackberry users took during a period.

Anyone know such an app ?

i know that is possible with one BB at a time (programs currently available, BBTracker). I am betting it is entirely possible for your group need.

granted they have a few small things to iron out, its well rounded and works like a charm. ive posted several times about it but check it out its really neat.

Cristalin, I sent you a PM with more information but I have built a mobile job and GPS tracking program for blackberry's. I am a new company and I am in the process of getting my web site up and running(html is not my forte). You mentioned that you wanted to keep the GPS positions on your servers, I have web services that you use to get the data into your systems. Also if you need something custom I can create that as well. This is a commercial product already being used, let me know if you are interested! Thanks.

Maybe we can help with the application on the server side. We have a GPS app that can put the points in a table and display on street level maps or google earth. I've also heard the TeleNAV tracker works pretty good.

yep in this very section. also allows local caching on the blackberry of maps and storing to the microSD card
