| Unless you're with Verizon. In which case, they have disabled the GPS in the firmware, so that it only works with VZNav.
There is one report on here that, if you pay for VZNav, and have it running, then switch over to Google Maps, GM will be able to access the GPS. But, other than that possibility, there is no way to use the built-in GPS in a Verizon 8130 other than paying for (and using) VZNav.
(and did I mention that that really sucks?)
