I'm having problems getting Blackberry maps to work.

I have an 8800 on Vodafone and a corporate BES. Colleagues at work with the same phone and TCP settings work ok.

Might be linked, but I also find that most apps that require an internet connection don't work, i.e. Opera Mini, Amaze, Foxy, Live search etc, but confusingly Gmail and Google Maps work ok???????

Your BES administrator(s) may be blocking the use of BlackBerry Maps on your device.
Have you spoken to them about it?

Sounds like your IT Policy on your device is a bit more resticted than your colleague's policy.

Tried that, we are both on the same IT policy.

Maybe your BES admin has disabled MDS on your BlackBerry?
Have you spoken to your BES administrator(s) yet?
The reason things aren't working for you may be deliberate.
If not, then your BES admins should work on fixing it.

Our IT guys are trying to help, but they claim they don't know what the problem is.

What I don't understand is why Google Mas works ok, but BB Maps doesn't?

I'm currently awaiting a response from Vodafone, but don't hold out too much with that.
