Hi, does any know an easy way of geotagging photos ?

I currently use bbtracker to record logs of walks etc. I would like to ability to also geotag any photos I take with my bb camera. Any ideas ?

The new 4.5 OS will have an option but I don't know how well it works or what it does.

I have found some software which should do the trick bbplaces - bbPlaces Beta :: GeoPhotos with your BlackBerry + GPS + Camera, not had chance to test it yet though.

I found exactly what I needed an app called Geotag http://geotag.sourceforge.net. You simply download the gpx file and load the images, it then creates geotags based on the time the image was taken, works brilliantly

OS 4.5's geotagging option in the camera settings works great (although i think that the little satellite icon - bottom left - is wrong because it always has that red X there even when sats are available - prob a bug).

also BBplaces is GREAT !! (because you can use it to upload etc) - try it !

ALSO i really like/recommend GPSed.com .. because it uploads your gpx trail (or trip log) on line (every minute if you want to) .. GREAT STUFF !!
