I've just got a blackberry 8310 and i want to use the maps thing. it just comes up with diagonal lines.

The help and advice items don't help they jsut say 'make sure you're connected'.

My question is simple: is it possible for the maps function to work in the UK?

If so, how prey tell?

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan provisioned on your account?
If not, you need to get one.
BB Maps won't work without it.
