Hi guys, i a newbie in bb and gps. i use 8820 and this is my first bb i just upgrade my os to 4.5.0.55 and i'm missing my bb maps icon can u guys plis tell me what's wrong ? and also is the navigation service is free ??? from what i heard there's a cost for navigation service, but my friend can use the navigation service for totally free (I lived in indonesia). and where can i download the map for indonesia (Jakarta) ? because the last time i open bb maps (when still using 4.2) it only show a grid without maps thanks a lot...

if it shows grid then the map is not downloaded yet

just try to start gps navigation and go outside, because gps only works in outdoor where the antenna has to directly receives various satellites signal for positioning

when it gets your coordinate and location it will automatically download map of your current location
