I really like GPSED, but it seems to cause major problems on my Bold, because uploading does not work, live tracking does not work and I experienced some other issues.

My questions: is there any alternative for live tracking and saving tracks (cycling, running etc) and uploading them in order to watch them in Google Earth or similar?

I tried this, unfortunately live tracking and automatic uploading is not possible.

Well, automatic uploading never worked for me with GPSed.

I use Instamapper (http://www.instamapper.com/download/GPSTrackerBB.jad) for live tracking and BBTracker for saving tracks. Not sure if Instamapper works with Bold...

I used 1.01 today and was able to upload from my 8100 pearl.

Automatic uploading is STILL NOT working for me, even with version 1.01. It does only partial uploads. Tried it few times, never seen it go past ~35%.

I have an 8900 and GPSed works like absolute garbage on it. It saves routes OK, but the "Monitoring" service is a complete joke. Seems simple - go to the website, enable monitoring service, add(create) subaccount. Then go to gpsed application on blackberry, configure login information to match subaccount, then start new track and select "yes" to "share information LIVE".

However, when you go to the website and try and "monitor" the subaccount - it shows "OFFLINE", or "Object has no tracks". I've tried to make this work for the past couple days without success.

And yes, I DID send an email to GPSed customer support...and am STILL waiting for a response...and to think I was contemplating getting the "PRO" version. I used to love GPSed, to track data and store data, but the "live" offerings are garbage - perhaps they released them too soon??? GPS Tracker (by Instamapper LLC - can be found on BB App store for free) works MUCH better for "LIVE" tracking. I expected much more from GPSed...
