No, BlackBerries only support BlueTooth Voice, not BlueTooth Data. Nothing to do with network or BB model, more to do with the security needs of BB devices and RIM do not feel they can adequately secure BT Data services.

Jadey Im sorry but your mistaken i connect to my GPS through my blackberry bluetooth all the time. and might i add that is how i am connected to the internet now on my laptop...

I have the tomtom 720 and what you need to do is first connect the devices via bluetooth and then connect the internet what i did was select the blackberry they have listed even though its not the one i have (8830 being what i have) and then i signed on to my tomtom account and got one month of traffic free it was awesome if you need better instructions PM me and ill try to hit you up when im free im on my way to a call now... good luck and have fun with your TOMTOM

My Curve works fine with my TomTom ONE, no problems whatsoever.

Here are the instructions I followed to get it working on T-Mobile (note: the Curve isn't listed in list of devices, just set up manually)

Quote:
this applies to the 4.2.1.66 for 8700 mentioned below, and all os 4.5 that i have tried on my 8320.

howdy folks... i got a tomtom one not too long ago and ive been scratching some anatomy trying to figure out how to get the darn thing to connect to my tmo 8700g for data services.

i just put the 4.2.1.66 on it and its working great... im using the berry to get wireless through my bluetoothed mac laptop, and i wanted to take advantage of the PLUS services of the tomtom one.

after playing around for hours with the berry and the tomtom, here are the settings they need for data to work (weather, traffic, traffic cameras, instant messaging, buddy location, etc.):

on berry:
options --> advanced --> TCP --> apn to wap.voicestream.com (we already knew this, right?) no username or pee-dub.

on tomtom one:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username:
Password:
Dial: *99***1#
Connection string: AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","wap.voicestream.com" (case and whitespace sensitive)

for the tomtom, do a manual setup... disregard the 4 tmo options and use auto ip and dns settings.
