Default vPost 1.0 Lets you 'Push' Location vs being tracked - 03-12-2009, 04:12 PM

I just made an initial thread about vPost in the aftermarket software topic but i wanted to include one here as well focusing on vPost's GPS abilities.

So vPost lets you capture, preview, and email any combination of pictures, video, audio notes, and GPS location.

Within the app in the top left corner is a GPS status indicator. Red=No GPS coordinates, Green = It's got your current LAT/LON, Yellow = It has a cached LAT/LON but not necessarily accurate.

Within the vPost menu you can disable GPS, Enable GPS and Update GPS.

So there are a bunch of Apps out there that let you be tracked (google latitude for ex.) but with vPost the equation is flipped as you decide when you want to share your location and with whom you want to share it.

To try out vPost and see it in action you can go to GETvPost.com
