Move to more appropriate forum.

You need a BB data plan for most of the map applications since map data is generally downloaded as you move, not stored on the device.

What is or is not working?

GPS is free. Its the apps that cost money. Check the sticky at the top of this section for reviews of most of the map apps.

Only if you can provide more details. There could be any number of reasons why it isn't working for you. What are you trying and what exactly happens? Do you have a BB data plan?

AmazeGPS is free. After you pay for your GPS unit (onboard or external), there are no other fees. I use it all the time.

I use Amaze and Google Maps on my 8310. All I pay for is the data plan through AT&T. Use of the app and use of my GPS are free. Amaze is a wonderful free voice by turn direction app.

Never again will I go through life without a berry by my side.
