Default BlackBerry Maps on my Bold - 07-19-2009, 12:26 PM

I have a Bold on AT&T, this is my first Blackberry and I am thouroughly addicted and still learning by visiting these forums daily and tinkering, I am running OS .162 and have an aftermarket theme, following instructions provided in these forums I made my BB Maps icon appear and used it sucessfuly, I recently inadvertantly deleted it and cant figure out how to get it back, BB Maps does show up im my Applications list, I have used the DM and checked BB Maps but it doesnt show up on my device, I havent mustered the nerve to upgrade my OS yet (but im close) but if thats the only way to get BB Maps back I'll give it a shot, BB Maps does show up in my Applications list, any suggestions on how I can get BB Maps back would be greatly appriciated, I think I have read most of the posts and resolutions regarding this subject, if I missed a simple answer I apologise for not being more thorough.
Thank you all in advance.

Ben

I believe the solution for the older OS is to use a non AT&T theme. Check this thread:

Thank you mgerbasio, I do have an aftermarket theme that allowed my BB Maps icon to appear and it worked fine untill my fingers worked a bit faster than my brain and I deleted it, BB Maps is in my applications list, I just cant do anything with it, no Icon, thank you for the suggestion.

Ben

If you can't get BB Maps to show (some carriers hide/disable it) then download GoogleMaps. I like it even better than BB Maps.
