Default Will BlackBerry Maps Re-Route Directions? - 07-23-2009, 11:31 AM

Using this since turning GPS on on my verizon blackberry curve 8330

Two things:
1. I notice it doesn't automatically move to the next turn as I'm dirving, I have to click "n" for the next upcoming turn, then 'esc' to go back to my GPS location. Is this by design? Any experience?

2. If I choose a different route, it's doesn't automatically re-route. I have to tell it to re-do directions from my current location. Wondering if this is typical as well.

Thanks in advance.

1 and 2 are by design. BlackBerry Maps isn't a full-featured navigation assistance application.

You might want to look into Telenav or VZnavigator for the features you're describing.

Would love to use amAze but not on Verizon 8330.
