Question Blackberry maps not available??? - 08-04-2009, 12:18 PM

All applications on my blackberry that utilize GPS stopped working over a week ago. The only thing I could come up with was when I go to options and maps - instead of saying Blackberry Maps it says Blackberry Maps - NA. I am assuming that means my blackberry map is not working and how could that have happened? I have not changed anything or deleted anything.

Has anyone else had the issue? Thank you.

NA means North America.

Have you checked the GPS setting on the device to make sure it's set to 'Location On' ?

Options > Advanced Options > GPS

Yes all settings are correct. On several of my friends BB is only says Blackberry Maps and does not have the -NA after it.

Also google maps keeps saying GPS temporarily unavailable
