Default Can't log into Google Maps on my Bold 9700

Please Login to Remove!

I tried to log into Google Maps on my Blackberry Bold 9700 and I haven't been able to do so. I'm sure that I am using the correct password and username... in fact, it is the same password that I'm using with the Google Voice application, Google Talk application, and Gmail application.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I just wanted to report back that after updating my Google Maps to version 4.0 from I believe 3.x, I'm now able to log on. I'm not sure what the problem was but as mentioned, I was using the correct password and username for both versions and I'm only able to log onto the recent 4.0.x version.

I too am having difficulties with logging in to Google maps (v4.0.1). I have set all permissions to allow, tried removing and re-installing and have had no joy. My carrier is Orange UK.

I had a quick look around the net and I don't appear to be the only one with an issue of logging in. It appears to be a Google issue as it appears to be across various carriers and devices.

Real shame, as I was looking forward to using Lattitude and Buzz from Google.
