I use the Blackberry App world on my 8900 Javelin and i have downloaded the Map My Tracks Software on it and have registered it and trying to login from my username and password. But it just would not login and instead give " Connection error " " Internet Access unavailable. Try an alternative access point "

Is it because it only works through GPS ? and i dont have GPS on my phone thats why ?

Suggest a bit of reading about your phone before you venture too far into the world of Apps. The 8900 most certainly DOES have GPS. Your problem would seem to stem from incorrect browser settings or possibly network settings or restrictions.

Do you have a BB data plan? It would need that for map access.

The 8900 series does indeed have GPS as mentioned above.

Is the app compatible with the 8900?
