Default InstaMapper comes to foreground on Bold 9700

Please Login to Remove!

I've only been using InstaMapper for a day and it seems to work well on Bold 9700 [had to set connection to "BIS" rather than default, and put app in background by exiting using the red phone key], BUT,

it comes to the foreground at unpredictable times, usually after resuming from a sleep (plug the device in, and you get the analog clock sleep display, after a few minutes, hit a button and InstaMapper comes to the foreground].

It has come to the foreground at other weird times (I exited my web browser and InstaMapper came to the foreground). I suspect this may be a BB OS issue in terms of how it deals with apps that are running in the background.

Anybody else see this, or have any ideas?

I'd never used Instamapper much until the past two weekends, but I've noticed the same thing. Weird.

A full re-boot seems to have reduced the frequency with which this occurs, but it still happens. I don't think I did a re-boot upon initial install, but I don't remember.
