Ok, so I downloaded LifeinPocket to my Blackberry 8530 (v.5.0.0.654) and I can't seem to access the site via Blackberry to update the resources (for first time use)

it says the unlocked phones must have correct APN settings...

clicking on it, it'd update so briefly, then I get an error message to say that update resources failed due to network temporarily unavailable.

been trying to update for two days now....

has anyone have the same problem?

would appreciate some help.

Are you able to go to any web sites or is this one the only one you cannot get to?

Generally that message means either your in a bad area or the carrier does not recognize your blackberry is on a valid Blackberry Data plan.

Try a battery pull

I have this same problem with Life in Pocket. It is the ONLY GPS app i can find and it just doesnt work. My wifes Droid works GREAT. THIS is the only problem I have had with this phone and I CANT SOLVE IT.
