Default Lat/Long Display Application - 01-03-2007, 03:57 PM

Hello,

Does anyone know of a simple (free) application that will display basic position information (lat/Long, direction, etc...) from a bluetooth GPS. I have found several map based programs that will do it, but I really do not want to have to buy a mapping program just for this functionality.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you go into BBMaps you can email location which gives you the lat and long.

Thanks for the info. I did see that option and that is the way I am currently doing it, I just was not sure if there were any other programs that displayed the information in an easier to access format.

I am not aware of any other free app at this time on the BB.

I saw something called J2MEMAP that may do what you're looking for. It's free too.
