I just want to let you know that the new version of "Spot" for the BlackBerry will support map image imports as well as waypoint file imports and exports. That means you can export your recorded waypoints to your memory card, transfer the file to your computer and publish or share them with others. That sounds great, but first SPOT needs two things. Reliable map sources and quicker download speeds. The program has significant useability issues until those are solved IMO.

I see they have updated the program. No notice of it on the site and when I tried from the application last night it did not indicate an update. I will try it out and see.

Well maybe not since I am getting a java error when I start it.

FIXED - CAN'T UPGRADE DIRECTLY - HAVE TO UNINSTALL FIRST THEN REINSTALL.

WILL TEST IT LATER.
