Default Is there a GPS navigation that doesn't require internet connection to work?

Please Login to Remove!

I've been looking for GPS software for my Pearl that doesn't require to have internet connection or a data plan w. my carrier(Cingular)in order to work. I used to have a Pocket PC and I had Tom Tom software where all I had to do was download & install maps. It work just like a regular car gps unit.

I do have a GPS receiver, but GPS options I've heard about so far (Wayfidner, Telenva, Spot) all seem to acquire maps via download to phone when in use. Any help would be appreciated.
