Default telenav issue

Please Login to Remove!

Not sure if anyone is using telenav or using maps instead. I went through the download and install process. It asked me to reboot. I rebooted.

I started up the app. It asked something about changing permissions and to view them and then "save" I followed the link, but didn't see anywhere to save it. You can just view and change the permissions if you want. If you exit out, it just then goes back to the telenav splash screen and then hangs there. It doesn't go anywhere.

Do I have to be outside for it to startup for the first time? I understand that GPS wont work indoors, but I would figure that I could atleast start up the app even though it can't find the satellites.

Thanks!

1. You can start the TeleNav GPS Navigator application by clicking the icon on the Home Screen. The first time you launch the application, TeleNav GPS Navigator will request you to grant certain permissions.
2. Click Change on the Permissions Warning screen.
3. Click View on the Change Request screen.
4. The System screen appears. The permissions that TeleNavGPS Navigator has converted to “Allow” are in bold. Click the BlackBerry Menu key and choose Save. If you simply Escape out of this screen, the Permissions behavior will loop itself, and you will not be able to launch the application. Please wait while the system configurations are saved. This may take up to 3 minutes.

Default Does Cingular charge for TeleNav service?

I've read here that, if Cingular is your carrier, the password is the last four digits of your phone number. Also read on the TeleNav site that the service costs $10/month.

Assuming the password info is correct, does Cingular automatically charge the $10 monthly fee if one logs into TeleNav?

You still have to sign up for the service. If you sign up through the Telenav site, you get a free 30 day trial. If you sign up through Cingular, you automatically get billed if you log in or not.
