Default BB 8800 GPS Screen Question

Hello All,

I was wondering if there is anyway to set up the BB 8800 so the backlight stays on while I have the car battery charger hooked up and I am using the GPS system? The system goes dark on long stretches of road and I must constantly reach out to hit a button if I want to look at the map. Any ideas? If I have the BB on external power I would be happy to have an option to leave the backlight on so I do not have to constantly activate the light.

It's in the TeleNav settings to keep the backlight on - if you are using TeleNav..

Should be able to set the back light to stay on....

Do it in settings.....

It is in the TeleNav settings... set to "Backlight on at turns" as default...go into Tools & Settings menu...
