I wrote a (really) simple application that does a google search based on your current location (or home/work location). I find it useful, so I thought maybe folks here will as well.

I've only validated it on Sprint devices and a Cingular 8800 [internal GPS only].

Have a look at www.suburbed.com/GrV, and give me feedback on how it works or doesn't for you...
