Default My GPS wish! - 05-15-2007, 10:11 AM

Greetings, I have been searching this site for years, but finally made an account. So hello and.....

I am a jogger, and I love my Garmin vista CX. Great little device. But, I own a business and I need my A) Cell phone B) my mp3s for those lonely trips and C) trip logging. My 8800 has 2 out of the 3! I know this isn't available ((yet)) but I am sure there are developers lurking in the shadows. Speed, distance, heading, stop time, moving time, and route logging for when you are in the woods and need to find your way home. Of course there would be a reset for all logs. The app could be marketed for the road warriors, hikers, and the speed walking moms out there. I'm sure there would be a market! Heck, I would even be willing to donate a little $$ to make it happen, would you?

also there is a beta product out there that doess everything you want but its not a public beta so we will have to wait for it to be released.

Wirelessly posted (8703e Sprint: BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)

Not sure if Trimble Outdoors has a version that works on the BB yet, but that would do what your looking for.

That has been released yesterday:

BlackBerryInsight » Software Review: MobileTracker for BlackBerry 8800 and BlackBerry 8830

Seems to be what you are looking for.
