Can anyone please explain in detail how you get a verizon 8830 to function as a GPS with turn-by-turn directions?? I downloaded google maps already, but there seems to be no function for GPS!?!?!?!

You need to search a little my friend. Been posted about a lot in these forums. Verizon locks down the GPS function of their BB's. I believe Verizon is coming out with a pay service for GPS use and turn by turn directions.

I understand, its just that i am at work and i am going away for the weekend after work and wanted a quick answer.

No GPS on Verizon without a Bluetooth GPS puck.
