Thanks.
I am curious to know the answer as well. !Got it to work!

**I did a little more digging and under Set up GPS I checked LAPI advanced and it found my location with no issue.
Note: Install all languages prior to making this setting change. I bypassed the voice set up upon initial installation because it took too long. I tried it after checking off LAPI advanced and it wouldn't install. Also, I downloaded the .alx and .cod files specific for BB from: KB110053: How do I install on my Blackberry using .cod and .alx files? - Free GPS navigation for your mobile phone!

Default newest release of nav4all on 7130e - 11-28-2007, 01:43 PM

After loading version 8.0.5 and also with version 8.0.6, if I have Nav4all running and a destination input and information displayed, if I get a message or phone call and have to switch to the message, the screen freezes with whatever was the last information (distance, direction, etc.). The voice commands continue correctly, but the screen will not display turns or other changes. Also recalculations will not been done if a turn is missed. The keyboard also freezes, except for the BlackBerry function that allows switching applications so I can't even close the app. I have to pull the battery to close it.
This didn't happen before version 8.5. I don't see a way to go back to older versions

Should this work on a Verizon 8130 w/external BT GPS? The 8100, 8110, and 8120 are listed as supported, but not the 8130.

Someone tried it on a Verizon 8130 and did not get voice to work...hoping that Nav4all and my 8130 and BT GPS will be a winning combination...

What do you think?

Default Version 8.0.63 Bluetooth Com. Error - 12-09-2007, 05:41 PM

Just downloaded and installed V8.0.63. Using a Holux M-1200 I establish a BT connection as evidenced by GPS Info in Nav4All which shows receiving from 9 satellites. However, shortly after starting navigation I receive a message that the Nav4All application requires Bluetooth to be enabled. Enable Bluetooth? I select Yes and the application crashes. Anyone having a similar problem who has come up with a solution?

Default permissions - 01-19-2008, 10:03 AM

I don't know about this, but I am very skeptable about the security.
It wants access to all user permissions. I have denied them and it looks like it starts ok, but can't find the GPS. I had to allow all to have it download the voice files. Anyone done any research on the security?
