I recently upgraded from the BB 8800 to the 8820 and am a BES user (AT&T). The 8800 synched perfectly with my TT 910 for traffic info but now I can not get the 8820 to sync for the traffic (stops at the 65%). I know the OS has changed on the 8820 from the 8800 and is this the reason why the two won't sync any longer? Any/all suggesstions appreciated.

Why would you want to do this? The 8820 already has internal GPS. Maybe that is the conflict?

my 8880 had internal GPS as well and I already own the TomTom so why pay the $9.99 per month to AT&T when I already paid the $450 for the TomTom?

Make sure you have the laptop connect plan along with a data plan.
I am on VZW with an 8830e and I own a tomtom 720 GO. The data feature of the tomtom works with my 8830 well even though it's not officially supported. I also had to purchase the tether plan for this to work since it uses the internal modem for a data connection.

Still no luck and I have been checking forums for the past two weeks. What happens if I downgrade my OS version from my 8820 to the 8800? Do I lose the functionality of the WIFI? or will this screw up my 8820 indefinetly?

I have been reading here that although TT states the only BB compatible is the 8100, alot of people have been able to set up other BB w TT go 910.
I on the other hand can not even get blue tooth configured for call. my 8320 is recognized by my 910 even confirms the sync, but other then that its dead, i am unable to use any feature on my TT. So if anyone here has configured there curve w there TT 910 please advise on the settings you used. thanks
