Question Google G1 - 11-21-2008, 03:26 PM

I have a reccomendation for all of you that are not liking the storm....... BUY A G1 FROM TMOBILE! There, I said it. I had the iphone 3g and was waiting to get the storm for the past couple of months now until I heard all these same complaints a month ago when the phone was initially reviewed. The G1 browser is similar to the iphone and the android os is great. And for those who like the keyboard of the curve will like the g1. I know I know the phone may not look as sleek as the iphone or the storm, although it is a good device. I hope some of you will give it a chance!

Oh, and flash is coming soon to android, real soon! See engadgetmobile for that info!

Wirelessly posted (T-Mobile 8120)

I'm seriously thinking about the G1, but am afraid of switching to a device with lesser email capabilities than the greatest emailing phone on the planet

PS: I also enjoy tmobile, and wish to stay with them which is why I'm trying to mentally ignore the storm and bold.

I've had good experiences with them in the past 4 years in 2 states, plus I get a 15% discount with them through my work so it is kind of forced on me :I

G1 is nice. I've been playing with my coworkers for a bit. As much as I like the keyboard on the device I also don't like the whole sliding out thing.

I ended up going with an unlocked Nokia e71 so I could have a phone with ActiveSync and it's been pretty great overall.
