Did a search and can't find this info anywhere.

If you are the "proud" owner of one of the following
  • Windows Mobile 6 Professional
  • Windows Mobile 6 Standard
  • Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC
  • Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone
  • Symbian Series 60 v3 devices
  • Symbian UIQ v3 devices
  • Palm OS 5.x
  • Sony Ericsson J2ME devices
  • Nokia Series 40 J2ME devices

and are looking for a free push email solution similar to BIS then check out Seven Beta. They do a push solution for your mail and deletions on the HH replicate back to the mail box. Works for Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, and most other POP3 mail.

Gmail supports SMTP and Hotmail has notification via Windows Live, all for free I think. At least it sounds like you can push email with those two from what I read in their documentation. I have yet to try it.

I tried and neither do a proper push, the best you can do is set the PPC to poll the account on a regular basis. The offering from Seven is genuine push a la RIM and BIS.
