iphone exclusive to O2 UK...until now

interesting, to me anyway, despite O2 claiming its exclusivity to the iphone 3g and 3gs, Orange are announcing its arrival.

I had hoped t-mobile Uk would be announcing it, considering the reports that they are handing them out to the higher paying customers at 1 a week.

I think it's more that O2 had exclusivity over the iPhone for two years (citation needed, has it really been two years?). So the contract is now expired, and the iPhone is going out to other carriers.

I guess that consumers will see a drop in prices, now there's competition.
