Default Replacement LCD for 7250

Please Login to Remove!

I ordered a replacement LCD for a 7250 from ProMobility. They sent me a replacement LCD for a 7280 and I was told that the only difference is that the 7250 LCD is brighter. However, the one they sent me won't fit into the 7250 case without snipping a little plastic, and it doesn't do anything when the unit is turned on. This is the second replacement I've received.

Could it be that I've gotten two defective screens? Or is the 7280 LCD not compatible with the 7250 unit as I suspect?

Thanks a bunch!

If you are careful, you can remove the LCD from the plastic housing and put it inside the other one.

Actually, no that may not be such a good idea. It is glued in there pretty good.

That was what ProMobility suggested, but the plastic housing was damaged and needed replacing as well as the screen itself.
