The amazing thing is, the 8703 in the OtterBox actually survived being run over by everything EXCEPT the UPS truck.

As you can see in the video with the H3, the light was still blinking, so we went inside, changed out the screen, and wallah, it worked!

Now, the same can't be said when it was ran over by the UPS truck...Then it finally died.

I was surprised to see the Otterbox break open when you tossed it in the air (the toss test). I didn't expect that to happen.

Errr...yeah...We weren't either...The OtterBox isn't 100% crush proof "as advertised".

One consistancy we noticed was the bottom part kept coming separated on it, so that's not a good thing.

So pretty much it will survive being run over (except by a UPS truck), but you will have to spend atleast the $ to get your screen replaced.

We wouldn't personally hold a lot of trust in the Bomb-Looking box.

I'm curious - did Otterbox sponsor these tests, or did you just purchase a bunch of them and decide to test them?

We got one down at WES this year and it's just been sitting around the office since then.

It popped in our head last week that "Hey, we have an otter box and some Blackberrys...Let's see what we can do to them!".

I am going to post some pics of "the aftermath" in just a second too.
