Default Hi! Keyboard Prob :/

Please Login to Remove!

Hello!
Would be interesting to hear if anyone else has had problems with the freedom universal keyboard for their blackberry? The problem currently being experienced is that it says it is connected but typing does nothing. It has been previously working for a while, and seems to have suddenly developed a taste for stubbornness. :(
Any help is much appreciated :]

Unless this is a Curve-specific item (and maybe even if it is), it might be more productive for you to post this in the hardware discussion section.

Here's what I would do:

Turn off the keyboard.

Exit the keyboard app.

Go to Options >Bluetooth and delete the keyboard.

Remove the battery from the BB and reinsert.

After the BB reboots, pair the keyboard again (passkey is 1234)

Edit the keyboard device settings under bluetooth for encryption "off" and Trusted "yes."

Then open the keyboard app and try connecting again.

(also make sure that your batteries are fresh. I've had multiple problems pairing the keyboard when the batteries are not fresh.)
