Default Fleet of 7250's not receiving mail

We seem to be encountering an issue with numerous Blackberry 7250 units dropping off the data portion of the 1X network and as a result, they stop receiving email. They retain the ability to send/receive voice information. On their display, the network connectivity indicator displays '1x' instead of '1X'. (loss of data connectivity)

To resolve, I've been instructing users to perform a simple reboot via removal of the battery which regains full 1X network connectivity and email functionality is resumed. However, an increase of incident frequency over the past few days necessitates a deeper root-cause investigation. I don't believe this is a Blackberry Enterprise Server related issue as it relates to network connectivity (though it can't be ruled out).

Has anyone else experienced this type of behavior?

Thanks for the quick response, not sure if that is the case though. We can have two units side by side, and the one that is not functioning will not work again until the battery is removed.
Can't say that it is a network issue.

thanks!
