Default seidio rma nightmare

Please Login to Remove!

ok so my curve hybrid case has issues and put in a rma online december 23. website says 1 to 2 days to recieve a response. i hvae called 3 times and they keep telling me wait a few more days everyone in technical support took the holidays off. well in the mean time my precious curve is without a case or holster and in grave danger.....always heard great things from bbforums members regarding seidio.......been over 2 weeks and nothing. called today same story..... ...anyone else dealing with this crap.

i run a buisness and sometimes i have to work extra hours to keep up and dont let my staffing problems be my customers problems.

i appreciate that they are a sponser here and thats why me and my associates buy from them but might think again if i dont hear from them soon.

Wow,

I haven't experienced that myself. They have had plenty of time to recover from backup over the holidays I think.

Hope it gets resolved for you

Me too. I had an adaptor that went bad. Tried and no cigar. I eventually bought another one from one of their suppliers.

I filled out a RMA today on their 83xx audio adapter. I was hoping that it would solve my headphone issue but the adapter was faulty. We'll see what happens...

I have ordered seidio in the past and I have had nothing but good things to say about their customer service. They are a little more patience and really try and go out of their way to make whats wrong right...

However... the issue is not really customer service... it is the quality of the products they sell. I have had to send back rubberized, crystal cases.. they never made it to 6 months... But Seidio always sent me another one... I had to ship the old ones back.

With my latest blackberry I decided to go with something a little more durable... I went with the otterbox... wow... can't put into words how happy I am with otterbox.. I have had metal/aluminum cases going back to palm V... nothing compares to the protection of an otter.

Although they are not bad to do business with, I stay clear of their products. My 2 cents.

I put in an RMA like 3 weeks ago as well and no word yet. I wrote another one of their e-mails, let's see if they respond...

Strange, I called 2 days later, since I hadn't received an email from them, and spoke to CS, 10 minutes later I received the email.

Bucketmouth,

I'm very sorry about the problems with your RMA. It should never take more than a couple of days to receive an RMA from customer service. I've received some emails about this recently so we're going to do some investigating with our servers to make sure we're receiving emails. In the meantime, please email me your contact and order number for [email address] and I'll make sure you're taken care of.

Thanks,

Glad to see things worked out... I RMA'd an adapter and they were very prompt, recieved it very quick too... however it broke about 2 months after, my own fault and I probably can't get it RMA'd again. If time ever comes that I want my music from my berry back I'll probably order another one from Seidio.

Willie, how soon after you returned it did you receive another adapter?

I guess it is a good thing we have this forum or folks would never get their items.

The poster known as Seidio is a good guy but his company is lackluster at best. They have lots of work to do in 08
