Exclamation Address Book & Call Log Searching Problem

Please Login to Remove!

When I search for a contact either in the address book or typing in the call log, I get "No Addresses" as soon as I type the first letter even if I have multiple contacts that begin with that letter (e.g. Typing M for Mike - I have 3 "Mike's" in there - it immediately says No Addresses). Won't show them if I type the whole name out either. So, I have to manually scroll in the address book all the way to the person I'm looking for.

I haven't updated the software becuase my IT hasn't asked me to and I don't want to disable my corporate email or something.

Removed battery - no luck.
ALT + CAPS + DEL - no luck.

Considering a wipe, but I get corporate email in a huge company that is almost impossible to work with in a timely manner so I don't want to kill my email access by wiping the device. I can't afford the time away from email like that.

Suggestions, please?

Default Solved?

I had a similar problem. When new contacts came in, they were listed alphabetically before A, after Z, or between O and P. Just out of curiosity, do you find any contacts when you start typing with "P?" I did.

Anyway, after reading numorous posts, I decided to delete, then undelete two service books...desktop[snyc] and one other that I can't remember. I went through the enterprise activation again, and it seems to be working now. I still seem to have some other issues address book issues.

Red face Same Problem Syncing Address Book To Mac with Missing Sync

Had the same problem. By syncing the address book and overwriting contact list with the one on the computer. Fixed the problem. Hope this helps.
