Default Curve replacement parts? - 02-19-2008, 07:33 AM

Anyone have any idea of where I may be able to find a replacement keyboard for a curve? I've googled just about every keyword, looks like most places only have it for the 8800 series so far. Hmm...I wanted to get the black keyboard from the red 8310 to put on my titanium frame.

BlackBerry Repair Shop - A full line of RIM BlackBerry repair services and BlackBerry parts for all BlackBerry handheld devices. They might not show all the parts they sell online, but email/call them and they usually have the parts in stock to ship.

I just ordered from cnn.cn last week and I got a new lens (bc the old one had dust under it and i pryed it off and ended up peeling all of the glue off) and a new trackball (didn't feel like cleaning it). It was really cheap and the customer service was great...quick replies and very accomodating.

I might buy a bunch of extra trackballs and lens just in case for later...

IMHO
I have not found any better than cnn. Shipping from cnn is a bit slow but everything comes from the pacific rim and is inexpensive but the real deal. They continue to provide steady service and a very competitive price...

I just setup and rebuilt an 8800 with new Black Case, new Black Keyboard and new trackball and new side rails - Nice looking phone... (but not a Bold) All parts from Cnn - and they look good... About $60.00 US with shipping.

I just refurbed my Curve 8320 (tmo) with a new black lens, black keyboard and a new battery cover all from cnn.cn. Processing and shipping took just about 2 weeks total, but the parts are perfect and original. It was about $35 shipped for all three pieces.

Looks good... The toughest thing taking apart the curve is separating the front of the phone away from the LCD. The last one I did, the frame around the LCD did not want to release when trying to remove the front of the phone.

Same here. Ordered a new black keyboard for my Curve in fact, for just $7.95. It (and my black trackball) should be here in a few days.
