Is there any way to force a 7280 to always stay on a GPRS network? I am having the problem that when it jumps to a GSM network it is worthless, no voice, no data anything at all. And then it wont even try to make the jump to a GPRS network. I have to soft boot it to change the networks. Any help would be very awesome.

Go to "options" and then "network". Switch to Manual and scan for networks and select the GPRS network you would like to use. The BB will not switch automatically if you travel until you go back in and rescan or switch to automatic again.

If it is the same network going from GPRS to GSM that won't be too helpful.

If you select manual like Workingmen has said, then pick your home carrier, you will stay on your carriers GPRS network where it is available. You cannot be on CarrierA's GSM network and on CarrierB's GPRS network.

Find out if your carrier has data coverage where you are dropping to GSM only and then if they do, see if you can find out if all the channels are in use.
